Some Much needed TLC

Eight railway stations on the South Western Railway network in London are benefitting from part of a £1.5m programme of repainting.

Once travel restrictions ease, more passengers will see the refreshed look internally and externally at the stations; work has been completed at some of the stations, with some currently in progress.

The London stations being repainted are at Wimbledon, Kingston, Berrylands, Richmond, Teddington, Tolworth, Vauxhall and Wandsworth Town.

These 8 stations are part of a total of 46 stations on the South Western Railway network which are to be repainted as part of the programme.

Alan Penlington, South Western Railway’s Director of Customer Experience, said: “At South Western Railway, we are committed to improving our stations and performance at every stage of the journey. We know that great customer service consists of more than getting people from A to B, and our determination to enhance our stations is just one example of improving the wider travel experience.”

“The £1.5 million investment will smarten up a range of stations across our network, and we hope customers in South West London will enjoy the new look.”

Have you noticed any of the above stations look fresh lately with a much needed lick of paint? Let us know in the comments below what you though of the repaint.
